Begin your journey at Tropicoco salon with a one-to-one consultation with our tanning experts. We will advise a brand and shade that is best suited to both your skin and the results you are looking to achieve.

Prepare in our custom-designed changing area which is fully stocked with moisturising cream for dry hands, elbows and knees. Disposable underwear and hats are complimentary.

For first-time or regular tanners, if you require help choosing a brand, our professional tanning therapists will ensure that everyone leaves with an even airbrush tan that suits them.

How long does a spray tan last?

A spray tan can last up to 1 week or more. Moisturising, patting dry and using your hands instead of a sponge or loofa to wash will let it last longer. 

Spray tans don’t begin to fade until the 5th day and it does not fade by much.

Ideally, your spray tan should be booked 1-3 days before your event. For example, if your event is on Saturday, you will want to get your spray tan on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. 

If your event is in the evening but cannot make it in on the days beforehand, book the express spray tan in the morning and you will be bronzed by the evening. 

What’s The Best Brand & Shade For Me?

Each brand is suitable for any type of event, yet they all have different undertones. Your therapist will choose the best brand for your skin type.

St. Tropez

Achieve a healthy, natural tan with St. Tropez ‘Original’. A light to medium glow with a hydrating gel complex to ensure your tan stays put during development. Perfect for brides or if you are very pale and want a natural holiday glow. 

For those that like it dark, try St. Tropez ‘Dark’ giving you a natural-looking deep bronze with a fresh citrus scent that dries in under 5 minutes. Rinse off after just 4 hours for our iconic dark tan, or after 8 hours for an intense ultra dark tan, that will make you look like you’ve just spent 2 weeks in Barbados!

Vita Liberata

Perfect for you if sensitive skin is an issue. Using advanced organic, skin finishing and complexion-enhancing treatments. Non-stick, organic extracts hydrate and nourish the skin. Depending on skin tone, light or medium Vita Liberata shades are best for brides or if you are very pale. However, if you like it dark, we have that in stock too! 

Nouvatan

If you have trouble getting tan to develop, or stick to certain areas, or like a deep but natural tan, then this brand is for you. Nouvatan comes in a wide range of shades and achieves a perfect tan that’s ideal for those that love a deep tan for events or photoshoots.
